The Anacostia Park and Community Collaborative was formed around the goal to increase the capacity of many individual organizations to accomplish their missions. In that spirit, we share upcoming funding opportunities and other free or reduced cost resources here.
Here’s the latest:
DOEE has received a Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG) for climate action planning from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The CPRG program is funded under the Inflation Reduction Act. CPRG is closely aligned with the District’s climate goals, including reaching carbon neutrality by 2045, and ensuring an equitable transition to a clean economy.
DOEE has released a Notice of Funding Availability and Requests for Applications for its Enhancing Green Infrastructure Community Benefits program.
The Chesapeake Bay Trust is seeking applicants for the Urban Trees Program. This includes the Urban Trees Grant Program and the Urban Trees Mini Grant Program.
The Capacity Building Grant Program is an annual program of the Chesapeake Bay Funders Network (CBFN). The program seeks to increase the effectiveness of organizations that work at the nexus of natural resource and community health issues, within the Chesapeake Bay, Coastal Bays, and Youghiogheny River watersheds by addressing organizational capacity needs.
