Want to comment on Metro's proposal to cut services in Wards 7 and 8? Here's how.

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA, Metro) is proposing changes in services to address a projected $275 million gap in FY 2018 (which begins July 1, 2017). We've summarized the cuts in Metro's proposed service changes would likely negatively impact Wards 7 and 8 residents. The deadline for public comment on the proposals is Tuesday, October 25 at 5:00 pm.

If you have views in support of or against the proposed changes, it is essential that you submit comments to WMATA by the deadline. Tweeting or talking over coffee or the water cooler are not enough!
