Join the Policy Advisory Council for DOEE's Weatherization Assistance Program

Information from the Department of Energy and Environment:

DOEE's Weatherization Assistance Program provides services to low-income households including insulation, duct sealing, heating and cooling systems repairs or replacement, air infiltration mitigation; and reducing electric base load consumption through measures such as energy efficient lighting and  appliances.

The Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE) is seeking applicants for participation in the Fiscal Year 2018 Weatherization Policy Advisory Council (PAC) through Friday June 30, 2017.

DOEE’s PAC strives to reflect the relevant groups whom the program represents; in particular, low-income households, especially those that include the elderly, the physically disadvantaged, and families with children. Members may include advocates of weatherization clients who participate in or have a history of activities advocating low-income interests, or recipients or eligible recipients of the weatherization program.  The PAC will be comprised of five members who will serve a two-year term.

In order to be considered for participation on the Weatherization Policy Advisory Council, please email your resume to DOEE at eecp.grants@dc.gov.
