If you are interested in the conversation about race and democracy, you may want to attend the University of the District of Columbia's event on Thursday, February 15 about the book Chocolate City: A History of Race and Democracy in the Nation's Capital.

Authors, Chris Myers Asch and George Derek Musgrove will discuss the tumultuous, four-century story of race and democracy in our nation's capital. Book signing and cupcake reception to follow the presentation.
