Black Washingtonians Facebook public group: “This group was created to be a catalyst to keep the Black Community in DC informed of all things economical, political, social and historical taking place in Washington, DC. Please feel free to post in the group but also please make sure it’s relevant to our goal of unifying Black Washingtonians and keeping us relevant in a city trying to push us out. Let’s promote civic engagement and grassroots organizing and educating our selves on the politics and socio-economic happenings in OUR city as well as the history and fun social events that we all might like to partake in.”

Probate Resource Center: The Probate Resource Center, which is staffed by attorneys via the DC Bar Pro Bono Center, has a new room: Room 316 in D.C. Superior Court Building A (515 5th St, NW). The center opens at 12:30 pm but the DC Bar reports the center is usually at capacity and those who arrive later than 11:30 am are not likely to be seen.

Jason Yuckenberg is the new Chief of Staff for the Deputy Mayor for Greater Economic Opportunity: A long-time DC government employee, Jason has moved from the Department of Parks and Recreation to DMGEO. He has done previous stints in the Office of the City Administrator, DGS, and the Council of the District of Columbia.
