The Elections Are Over, What’s Next? The State of South East DC Town Hall Meeting, Monday, November 26: Sponsored by the Black United Front, the event will connect residents with newly elected, current, and appointed officials to see what is on the horizon for 2019 and for residents to share their concerns and ideas for what residents would leaders to do. The topics guiding the event are business grants, education for our children, and public safety.

The D.C. Bar and the D.C Bar Pro Bono Center will be closed from December 24 - January 1: As a result, the following court-based resource centers will also be closed: Landlord Tenant Resource Center, Consumer Law Resource Center, and Probate Resource Center (closed December 25 and January 1) [not to be confused with the Court's recently formed Probate Self-Help Center, which will operate during hours to be determined by the Court.] The Center will also be closed for telephone intake during this time. 

Neighborhood Legal Services Program's Small Claims Resource Center holiday schedule: The Center will be closed December 27.

Digital, campaign, creative jobs: Ted Fickes tracks and curates a list of jobs around the world that work at the intersection of digital, organizing, and communications. The list includes email lists, groups, job boards, etc. If you have a resource to add, the doc is editable.
