join the Ward 8 Water Watchers for an outdoor mini-festival and trash cleanup this Saturday, March 20th, from 12:30-3:30 pm at The Well at Oxon Run. Ward 8 Water Watchers is a new collaboration between The Green Scheme, The Well at Oxon Run, Friends of Oxon Run, and Audubon Naturalist Society, and is building community power for environmental justice, self-determination, and watershed health. 

The event is a free, family-friendly, COVID-safe, outdoor mini-festival. There will be cool educational nature activities for kids and adults alike, and each family will be able to take home a free bag of fresh fruits and veggies courtesy of The Green Scheme. 

As part of the Mayor’s Spring Clean Up Day, we will also be cleaning trash pollution from the stream. Attendance is limited because of COVID regulations, so please register yourself and your family in advance.
