Early Recap: Connecting for a Cleaner Anacostia River, June 21, 2017
Several APACC members participated in a community planning team alongside the Department of Energy & Environment (DOEE) and the National Park Service (NPS) to host a meeting for stakeholders to talk about cleaning up the sediment in the Anacostia River.
Over 85 people attended the first of what will be several meetings over coming months to talk about pollution in the river bottom and what can be done about it.
We will post a more detailed summary of the meeting here soon, but for now you can relive the meeting by viewing this "Storify," a summary of Twitter activity during the event!
