November 8: Tommy Wells talks Anacostia River cleanup

Department of Energy and Environment Director Tommy Wells and others (Lisa Feldt of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and Dennis Chestnut of IDEA Public Charter School) will discuss progress made on the Anacostia River cleanup at the Sierra Club DC Chapter’s Year of the Anacostia Update Thursday, November 8, 6:30-8:30 pm. Panelists will also talk about challenges in the coming years.

The free event is sponsored by the DC Chapter’s Clean Water Committee. The event takes place at Sierra Club (50 F St, NW in the downstairs meeting room 1C).

Registration is required to enter the building.
