What DC Council expects to see in the mayor's proposed #dcfy20 budget

At the October 16 Committee of the Whole meeting, Chairman Phil Mendelson introduced PR22-1054, “Fiscal Year 2020 Budget Submission Requirements Resolution of 2018” (PDF). This resolution establishes “the date by which the Mayor shall submit to the Council the proposed budget for the government of the District of Columbia for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2020.” That date is March 20, 2019.

The resolution also lists the kind of information and format of that information the council wants in the budget. The big change for the FY 2020 budget is the requirement to provide separate coding for DC Public Schools at-risk funding.
