The National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC) is in charge of creating the "Federal elements" of DC's comprehensive plan. They have released the draft Parks & Open Space Element update for public comment through Monday, May 7, 2018.

Many of the public spaces along the Anacostia River and in the neighborhoods of the Anacostia corridor are Federal lands. APACC's goal is to ensure that residents' voices are heard during decision-making moments like this - we encourage you to attend one of the open houses hosted by NCPC to learn more, ask questions and share your priorities.
