NatureFest, celebrating #Ward7 families with fun and jazz June 16
NatureFest Ward 7 Family Day is a must-attend event for Ward 7 families Saturday, June 16 from 1:00-3:00 pm. Families will enjoy games, activities, and food and will have the opportunity to chat and walk with Park Rangers to see that Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens is, in fact, a natural jewel along the historic Anacostia River. Two important features of the Ward 7 Family Day:
- The event is free.
- A shuttle bus to and from the Gardens is provided for Lincoln Heights, Mayfair, Paradise, and Kenilworth Residents
From 3:00-5:00 pm, guests will enjoy Jazz & Lily Pads featuring Ka'Ba Soul Singer. Bring a chair, blanket, picnic, and all your family and friends and enjoy this free event which is open to the public.
