Trauma Break of Music and Meditation for Youth

In a world dominated by news of conflict, violence and natural disasters affecting millions, music and mindfulness can be an effective strategy for coping with traumatic events.

Whether you have personally experienced or witnessed, or experienced vicariously, actual or threatened death, serious injury or sexual violence, our youths' brains are tired and need opportunities where they can take time each day to take a break and relax. Music and meditation offers this break and helps youth function more effectively and clearly.
