NPS: Suitland Parkway Trail Extension and Naylor Road Intersection Safety Improvements Public Scoping

The National Park Service (NPS) proposes to extend the Suitland Parkway Trail from the D.C. border to Naylor Road in Prince George's County, Maryland to address issues with pedestrian safety and connectivity in the vicinity of the Parkway and the Naylor Road Metro Station. The NPS is also considering improvements to enhance safety at the Suitland Parkway and Naylor Road intersection, which has been the site of numerous accidents and pedestrian fatalities. Suitland Parkway is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
